Creation Cue (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides Wear OS watch faces and a companion Android application. This policy outlines our commitment to your privacy and explains how we handle data.
1. Data Access and Collection
We prioritize your privacy and do not collect personal or sensitive information for storage on our servers. However, our apps perform the following data activities:
Health and Fitness Data (Watch Face)
Our watch faces access real-time sensor data, including Heart Rate, Step Count, and Physical Activity, through the Wear OS platform.
Usage: This data is accessed solely to display it on the watch face interface for your immediate information. It is processed locally and is never transmitted off your device or shared with third parties.
Referrer Information (Companion App)
Our companion app uses the Google Play Install Referrer API.
Usage: This is used to identify the source of your visit to our “Featured Designs” carousel. This helps us improve our marketing and feature the most relevant designs. This information is non-identifying and is not linked to your personal profile.
2. Data Retention
We do not store your personal, health, or referrer data on any permanent storage or cloud infrastructure.
Retention Period: Because no data is collected or stored by us, there is no retention period. All health data is processed “ephemerally” in the device’s temporary memory (RAM) and vanishes as soon as the watch face is closed or the data is updated.
3. Data Deletion
Since we do not collect or store user data on our servers, there is no data to delete from our systems.
User Control
- Changing the watch face or uninstalling the companion app.
- Revoking “Sensors” or “Physical Activity” permissions in your device’s System Settings.
- Uninstallation effectively removes all app-related local configurations.
4. Security
We follow industry standards for local data handling to ensure that the transient data accessed by the app is handled securely within the Android/Wear OS sandbox environment.
